I'm actually keeping up with it, I was so scared I'd end up falling behind. With NaNoWriMo you aim to write about 50,000 words which, I realise, is the equivalent of writing five dissertations. Having written a university dissertation/thesis earlier this year I can safely say it's so much easier to write fiction, especially when you know where you're going. I'll write all November, edit through December. Maybe I won't wait til November this year and use this strategy of novel writing in a month more often. I could write for one full month and then edit the next...
... Maybe I'm getting a little bit ahead of myself.
