So my first event as a published author will apparently be at the book launch of my collection of short stories and the launch of the work of two other authors in March next year. It's part of a bigger 10 day literature festival We'll be presenting our work and maybe talking about it a little, though at this stage I'm not sure.
It's kind of exciting to think of my first public event as an author. I've looked up the information and other cool people are going to be there such as Joanne M Harris, author of
Chocolat and Gwyneth Hughes, writer of screenplay of
The Girl. There will also be a whole talk about Iain Banks and his life and legacy.
