Am I the only one both excited and terrified by snow?I'm already in the winter spirit. I love wrapping up warm, sitting by the fire, drinking hot chocolate and the excitement in the run up to Christmas. A dusting of snow just seems to be the perfect final touch, right?
Well as much as we love snow it also poses problems. For example I rescue and keep ex battery hens. It means closely monitoring them and making sure they don't get too cold during the cold of winter. It means being careful so I don't slip and fall on my injured knee. It means halted transport between me and my long distance partner. I love snow but I love it when I'm inside with my loved ones and exactly where I'm supposed to be.
