There is now officially one week left until my dissertation hand in and though I'm positive that it will be finished and secure me a 2:2 or a 2:1 I still feel horribly stressed. I feel like I have a huge, Atlas-style weight on my shoulders that I'm scared and excited to cast off. This next week is going to be full of essay structuring, last minute reading, collecting all the sources for my list of references.
After that I have a conference paper to write. My paper will be a contestation of patriarchal dominance and interrogation of the 'domestic norms' within Xue Xinran's book 'The Good Women of China'
Does watching Mulan count as research?
I thought not.
