I don't want to jinx anything, which is why I haven't said anything until now, but I can't hold it in much longer...
Anyone who has been reading my blog since the beginning of the year will know that I submitted a short collection of stories and a short collection of poetry into a competition. The six best entries would then go on to be published as chapbooks.
Well the long list (you know, a list that comes before a short list) has been revealed...

and BOTH of my entries have made it!

I'm hoping that at least one of my works will, as a result of this, be chosen for publication but I'm very scared that this won't happen. Still... to have even made the long list fills me with pride.
