I'm currently seeing a lot of posts about the snow in America and of course we humans are capable of preparing ourselves for tough weather however intense snow can be very tough for animals when they are outdoors. If you do make such a shelter make sure to check it regularly. Also check under your cars, in the garage and under porches for cold kitties. Inform neighbours if you find animals hiding in your property for shelter.
