Song of the Day: Don't You Forget About Me by Simple Minds

I love this song so much. 
Okay, so we're doing this whole 'songs from movies' theme this month and I felt that it would be utterly incomplete without this absolute 80s anthem. This is the wonderful song 'Don't You Forget About Me' by Simple Minds which comes from the film The Breakfast Club. I adore The Breakfast Club. When I have kids it will be essential viewing for them once they're of high school age.

This seems like a great song to end the year.
As we move on, don't forget the past. Don't forget what came before.
Use it to create the future.

We're starting up song of the day once more and the song I decided to start with is Pretty In Pink by Psychedelic Furs which is, of course, from the film Pretty In Pink. This is one of those songs that I can never get sick of.

So listening to 80s French synth on a regular basis may be one of the most unintentionally hipster things I do...

But I don't care. 

Desireless are a real favourite of mine and this song is ridiculously catchy.

Song of the Day: Boys Boys Boys by Sabrina

I was trying to think of cheesy holiday songs to leave here whilst I'm away in the sun and sand.
Then this came to mind.
If you're unaware of this song it's pure cheese and a rather dreadful choice of bikini leads to numerous awkward nip slips in this bouncy 80s hit.
